The Shiny New Friend
In a world made of bright, shiny metal and soft, green grass lived a little robot named Bolt. Bolt was brand new and very curious. His body was silver, and his eyes glowed a friendly blue. He loved to explore the big, beautiful forest that grew right next to the robot city.
One morning, Bolt walked past a tall oak tree. He had never seen a tree so big! Suddenly, he heard a sound. "Tweet! Tweet!"
Bolt looked up. Perched on a branch was a tiny bird with feathers the color of the sky. The bird was singing a happy song. Bolt tilted his square head.
"Hello," Bolt beeped softly. His voice sounded like a gentle chime.
The bird stopped singing and looked down at the shiny robot. It wasn't scared at all. It chirped again, a welcoming sound. Bolt felt a warm, happy feeling in his metal chest. This was the start of a wonderful day.

The Singing Forest
Bolt decided to follow the path deeper into the forest. He wanted to see more of the singing birds and the tall trees. The forest was amazing! Some trees had leaves that sparkled like jewels, and others had bark that felt soft like velvet.
As Bolt walked, more birds flew down to greet him. A bright red bird landed on his shoulder. A yellow bird zipped past his head. They all sang together, making a beautiful, happy chorus.
"You all sound so joyful!" Bolt said, his voice full of delight.
The birds seemed to understand. They led Bolt to a small, clear stream. The water sparkled, and the air smelled fresh and sweet. Bolt realized that the trees and the birds made this place special. They were all friends, living together happily.

A Problem with the Pipes
Bolt spent the afternoon playing with his new bird friends. But as the sun began to set, he noticed something strange. Near the edge of the forest, where the robot city began, there was a big, old metal pipe.
"Beep-boop," Bolt said sadly. The pipe was leaking! A little bit of dark, sticky oil was dripping onto the soft moss.
The birds stopped singing. They looked worried. The little blue bird landed next to the leak and chirped sadly.
Bolt knew this was a problem. The oil was not good for the trees or the moss. He quickly ran back toward the city and found a group of older, bigger robots who were working on repairs.
"Excuse me, friends," Bolt chimed. "There is a leak in the pipe near the singing trees. It is making the birds sad."

Fixing the Forest
The older robots listened carefully to Bolt. They saw how worried he was about the trees and the birds.
"Thank you for telling us, Bolt," said a tall, green robot named Gear. "We must fix it right away!"
Gear and another robot, Spark, followed Bolt back to the forest. They brought special tools and shiny patches. Bolt helped them by holding the flashlight and handing them the right tools. He was a very helpful little robot!
Soon, the leak was fixed. Gear cleaned up all the dark oil from the moss. The forest floor was clean and safe again.
The birds immediately started singing the happiest songs Bolt had ever heard. They flew around Bolt, thanking him with their cheerful tweets. Bolt smiled, his blue eyes glowing brightly. He learned that even a small, new robot could help keep the world—the trees, the birds, and the robots—happy and healthy. He was glad to be a friend to the singing forest.
